For Day 6: Reputation of @lucienweekofficial , we’d asked the talented @/kowc0a_ to make those thighs THICK and they’ve had us screaming since the very first sketch.

Thank you @/kowc0a_ for making our vision of Day Court Lucien come to life so beautifully! The sheer amount of details in this piece have us INSANE — just look at the fire wrapped around his arms? His tiny little skirt? The anklets? His reputation really does precede him and all we really want is just ONE chance. Just one. Or two. Maybe three?

This is my first Lucien portrait and I love it so much! I wanted to portray Lucien in the way that I see him and I got inspired by that scene in ACOWAR where he sees Elain and his breathing stops when she faces him.

Lucien week Day 6- Reputation

Lucien's reputation as a rake proceeds him! And though he's been in a position where we haven't seen that side of him for a while, I'm sure in the next book he will be cranking it up to 10 and sweep Elain up off her feet!

I actually really think he has some ressemblance with the main character in The Little Prince written by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry (this book is my favorite book, I 100% recommend reading it). So let me present you Lucien "I'm a mated male" Vanserra The Little Prince AU! Thank you, @dawneternal , for bringing this project to life with your art! It's beautiful, as always. 🧡

Lucien appreciation week 2024 - Day 5 "Home"

i don’t know about y’all, but this week has been.. rough.

i’m admittedly full of so much rage, despair and hopelessness that it feels hard to function with it all in my chest like this. it feels like i’m wading through water with no end in sight, and i know i’m not alone in this.

but, even when we are drowning in these awful, overwhelming feelings, i’m trying to remind myself that there is still room for kindness and empathy.

i didn’t have plans to post this particular commission any time soon, but after seeing @elrielsgarden’s post about channeling the kindness of our darling flower girl, and with the state of things i wanted to put out a little beacon of light, even if it’s just for myself and to make myself smile. hopefully it can do the same for you. pls enjoy this lovely piece from @bloomsbury 🫶

For this piece, the idea was a headcanon where Elain and Lucien both conveniently are placed within the Day Court and are subject to forced proximity—the bond is riding them both hard. While home will always be a person for these two, I would like to think that they didn’t give each other even a moment of peace before they arrived together at the end.

(Any opportunity for the look of love between Elain and Lucien is one that I take)

What Bloomed in the Darkgarden by ehoney

My favourite Elriel fanfiction by far. It's got everything you could ever hope for - Elain using dark witchy powers, sweet slowburn angst with Azriel, women refusing to be put in a triangle, travel to other courts, a spectacular blazing row with Rhys where he's thoroughly told off, lore and mythology and darling shadows.

Summary: Elain Archeron is not the trembling fawn everyone believes her to be. Two years after the war, she feels an awakening- a power which calls her to grow untamed things under moonlight. She then receives an invitation to master her abilities as a Seer under the guidance of an Oracle of the Day Court. All the while fighting an inevitable war of passion for a holy mess of a shadow-wreathed male who looks at her with all the longing in the world. So perhaps a little more softly, a little more lethally, Elain begins her journey down the path unknown. For there’s something blooming within her. Something darker, softer, and wilder than she can name- reaching for the song of the Void. “Damn the Cauldron.” Azriel strode towards her. “Damn the Stars.” He closed the distance. “This-” those scarred hands softly gripped her face, bringing it within an inch of his own. “This-” he wrapped his scent around her and looked directly into her soul, making sure she could feel the charge, the need, the nameless want- “This could never be a mistake.”
